OUR MISSION
At Belmont County Animal Shelter our mission is to save the lives of stray abandoned animals in our care, reunite lost pets with their owners, protect people and pets in our community from health-related issues and ensure the public’s safety.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are key in uniting homeless shelter pets with loving families, which is both exciting and rewarding. Volunteers make a difference!

Welcome to Belmont County Animal Shelter, where our mission is to provide for and help find loving homes for our shelter animals. Champ, a wonderful three-year-old Pitbull, is one of our residents who is currently in search of his forever home. He loves to play and knows basic commands, but just needs a little bit of discipline and guidance to make sure he reaches his full potential. We're always seeking compassionate individuals who are passionate about adopting a furry friend, and our experienced staff is here to help you find your perfect match.

CAT OF THE MONTH!
Waddles is a six year old female cat who is looking for her forever home. She is a friendly and playful feline who enjoys cuddling and receiving affection. Waddles has been well cared for and is up to date on all her vaccinations. We want to find Waddles a loving home and we hope that you can provide it!
All pets adopted from Belmont County Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested (Heartworm /Lyme), (Feline Leukemia/FIV), flea treated.
If you've lost your pet or found someone else's file a report to Belmont County Animal Shelter as soon as possible.
