OUR MISSION
At Belmont County Animal Shelter our mission is to save the lives of stray abandoned animals in our care, reunite lost pets with their owners, protect people and pets in our community from health-related issues and ensure the public’s safety.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are key in uniting homeless shelter pets with loving families, which is both exciting and rewarding. Volunteers make a difference!

Dog of the week
Meet Tiffany, an 8 year old, Boxer-Pit mix who has been at the shelter for a little over 2 years. She was brought in because she chased the cat. Although Tiffany must be an only animal, she is faithful and loyal and will make you her best friend. If you're considering getting a dog, please consider Tiffany. She needs a loving home for her retirement years.

Cat of the week
Meet Bubbles, a 3-year-old domestic short hair dilute tortie. Bubbles has had a rough time adjusting to shelter life since her owner died and is looking for her furever home. Please consider adopting Bubbles to give her the life she so deserves.
All pets adopted from Belmont County Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested (Heartworm /Lyme), (Feline Leukemia/FIV), flea treated.
If you've lost your pet or found someone else's file a report to Belmont County Animal Shelter as soon as possible.
