SAVE A PET
At Belmont County Animal Shelter our mission is to save the lives of stray abandoned animals in our care, and reunite lost pets with their owners, protect people and pets in our community from health-related issues and ensure the public’s safety.
Volunteers are key in uniting homeless shelter pets with loving families, which is both exciting and rewarding. Volunteers make a difference!
Dog of the week
Meet MJ, a 5-year-old Boxer/Hound mix. She has been at the shelter since 07/18/2022 and we can't understand why she is still here. She is good with cats, kids and other dogs. She walks very well on a leash, is housebroken, and loves car rides. MJ is the dream dog you've been looking for! Please fill out our adoption application via our website and give this pup her furever home.
Cat of the week
Meet Bella. She loves attention and loves people but is NOT a fan of other animals. She would need to be the home's only pet, but she sure would make a great one. Please fill out our adoption application to give this furbaby her furever home.
All pets adopted from Belmont County Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested (Heartworm /Lyme), (Feline Leukemia/FIV), flea treated.
If you've lost your pet or found someone else's file a report to Belmont County Animal Services as soon as possible.
